During the Holiday Season, we believe it is important to remember that there are members of our community that may need help making this season special for their families. For the 9th year in a row, through Adopt a Family programs, we were able to help bring joy and relief to families in need! Each of our offices were provided with wish lists from families in their area and got together to go shopping for electronics, toys, clothes, and winter necessities!
These charitable organizations in Pennsylvania, Ohio and North Carolina have allowed us to extend a helping hand to local families in need, making their holiday season a little brighter:
Our Delmont, PA office shopped for 33 children through The Children's Home of Pittsburgh & Lemieux Family Center’s Wish List Program!
The Children's Home of Pittsburgh & Lemieux Family Center is an independent, nonprofit organization with a mission to promote the health and well-being of infants and children.
The Westmoreland Community Action Program helps struggling families improve their standard of living through housing programs, emergency services, mental health programs, workforce development programs, community services, children and family services, financial services, and a social enterprise.
This year, our Murrysville, PA office shopped for a family through their holiday giving program!
Our Lewisburg, PA office did their holiday shopping for Transitions of PA, a crisis center that provides advocacy, empowerment, and education to victims, survivors, families, and communities to end patterns of violence and abuse.
CASA Guadalupe is a non-profit, community-based organization established in 1969 that meets the needs of primarily Latino residents of the Lehigh Valley area. They have a community of senior citizens that they serve on a weekly basis that our Eastern PA Homecare office shopped for this holiday season!
Our Columbus, OH office joined forces with Franklin County Children Services’ Holiday Wish Program to provide for families in the Columbus, Ohio area.
Franklin County Children Services provides children with protection from abuse and neglect and works to ensure that children have safe, stable homes.
Our Charlotte, NC office participated in Crisis Assistance Ministry’s Amazon Winter Wishlist program.
The mission of Crisis Assistance Ministry is to provide assistance and advocacy for people in financial crisis, helping them move toward self-sufficiency. Their Winter Wishlist Program allows families in and around Mecklenburg County, North Carolina to shop for essentials free of charge!
We are grateful to be able to give back to the families within our communities this holiday season. We are also grateful for the work that these organizations do to help those in need, and we are proud to help them further their missions.
