August 10, 2017 – Dedicated Nursing Associates, Inc. (DNA) visited the Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh on Thursday, August 10th. During the visit, DNA donated $5,200 to the Foundation and enjoyed a tour of the facility. Throughout the tour, DNA employees got an inside look behind the design of the hospital. Each aspect of the hospital was created with the mindset of what would make a child comfortable. A consistent theme of “distraction therapy” can be seen throughout the hospital with vibrant colors, elaborate train sets, themed exam rooms and much more. The design of the hospital and its facilities is made possible through donations from sponsors.
The money for our donation was raised during DNA’s 2nd Annual Charity Golf Outing on June 23rd with the support from many sponsors. The event was a remarkable success since we could double our fundraising efforts from last year. We are proud to be able to support the Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh Foundation as we truly believe in their mission of improving the health and well-being of children though excellence in patient care, teaching and research.
