Data Analyst
The Data Analyst will be responsible for analyzing financial data for management purposes
Major Areas of Responsibility:
- Prepare linear charts and pie graphs using financial data as directed by management
- Analyze financial data for errors and discrepancies
- Building, organizing, and creating Office Snapshots for each branch office on a quarterly basis
- Gathering and organizing tax information for use on tax returns (federal and state)
- Prepare financial reports for use during audits (federal, state, worker’s comp, etc)
- Responsible for analyzing and reviewing due diligence documentation for potential acquisitions
- Assist with formulating budgets, forecasts, and projections
- Assist management with all other reporting requests as needed
Requirements
- Bachelor's and/or Master's Degree Required
- General knowledge of office equipment
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Physical Demands
- Ability to sit for extended periods of times
- Ability to stand, walk, bend and reach
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds occasionally
- Must have Excel knowledge in vlookup & hlookup, macros, querying data
- Data software experience in PowerBI & Tableau
- Experience using Powerpoint
- General business and payroll knowledge
Work environment
Generally works in an office environment but may occasionally be required to perform job duties outside of the typical office setting.
