Marketing Assistant

We are currently seeking an innovative and self-driven Marketing Assistant to support the Marketing department in execution of branding DNA on a national level.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Undertake daily administrative tasks to ensure the functionality and coordination of the department’s activities
  • Support the Director of Marketing in organizing various projects
  • Utilize online job boards to post job openings for all branch offices
  • Assist in creation and implementation of social media campaigns
  • Assist in planning and execution of various company events
  • Assist in composing content for company website
  • Write marketing literature (brochures, press releases, etc) to augment the company’s presence in the market
  • Assist in composing content for company website
  • Effectively streamline communication between the Marketing team and Divisions regarding marketing tasks and budgets
  • Place advertisements on Google, Youtube, Facebook, Instagram, etc.
  • Plan and attend hiring events across the region
  • Participate in promotional projects, team meetings and office events
  • Attend and promote marketing events
  • Assist in fundraising events hosted by DNA
  • Increase fundraising donations to various charities through events and campaigns
  • Conduct phone calls to offices and outside businesses/vendors
  • Work in an office environment on a full-time basis unless otherwise specified by the Executive Team


  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Public Relations, Communications, Advertising or related field
  • Sound understanding of marketing principles
  • Strong copywriting skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and the Adobe Creative Suite
  • Strong administrative and organizational skills
  • Experience working with SEM/SEM and Mailchimp are a plus
  • Experience working with WordPress is a plus
  • Graphic design and animation experience preferred
  • General knowledge and capability to operate office equipment
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Meet or exceed all essential functions of the job, including but not limited to, work performance goals

Physical Demands

  • Ability to remain in a stationary position for the duration of the work day
  • Ability to move about the office, bend, and reach
  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds occasionally (recruiting materials to and from event venues)

Work Environment

  • Generally, works in an office environment but may occasionally be required to perform job duties outside of the typical office setting if specified by the Executive Team
  • Some travel may be required
